Nepal Satsang 2026, Satsang By Param Sant Kanwar Saheb Ji Maharaj
Bhakti cannot blossom in a life that is disturbed, imbalanced, or burdened by inner conflict. Until a person’s personal life becomes disciplined and harmonious, it becomes difficult to progress sincerely on the path of bhakti. A restless and sorrowful mind cannot experience the depth of divine love.
Before seeking spiritual heights, one must first learn to fulfil worldly responsibilities with honesty and dedication. Duties toward parents, children, and family are not obstacles to spirituality; rather, they are the very training ground of character. Unless a person learns responsibility, compassion, and balance in daily life, even a single step forward in devotion becomes difficult.

Sweetness in speech is also a vital part of spiritual practice. A person who speaks gently, like the melodious cuckoo, naturally wins hearts and spreads peace wherever they go. On the other hand, harsh words create distance and bitterness, just as the unpleasant voice of a crow is rarely welcomed. Spirituality is not reflected merely through rituals, but through the refinement of one’s behaviour and conduct.
If one truly wishes to concentrate in bhajan and meditation, it is essential to first live according to the teachings received in Satsang. Merely sitting for Bhajan cannot calm the restless mind. Real concentration arises only when spiritual principles begin to shape one’s actions, habits, and relationships. Practice without transformation remains incomplete.

The sacred Naam bestowed by the Guru possesses the power to destroy sins and cleanse the impurities of the mind. Yet, unless the seeker develops deep love and longing for that divine Naam, spiritual union remains distant. Bhakti requires not only remembrance, but also intensity, surrender, and heartfelt yearning.
The secret of living happily in this world is simple: learn to give happiness to others. A heart that spreads comfort, kindness, and joy naturally becomes peaceful within itself.

Saints have always emphasized the immense value of Satsang. By listening to the words of Saints, the impurities of the mind gradually begin to dissolve. Just as bathing in the holy Ganga is believed to cleanse the body, listening to the wisdom of saints purifies the inner being.
Every sinful action first takes birth in the mind before manifesting through the body. When the mind is purified through spiritual wisdom, negative tendencies slowly lose their hold. A purified mind naturally turns away from wrongdoing and moves toward truth, compassion, and righteousness. For this reason, Satsang has been regarded as sacred as a pilgrimage — a divine stream that purifies the soul and leads man toward inner awakening.
